Balloon Hitting

...The unorthodox use of balloons to sharpen your reflexes...



Fill a balloon with air (not helium, as that would defeat the purpose). Find an environment that lacks fragline objects! Once you’re good enough, you’re allowed to practice around fragile things -you’ll know when you are ready. Throw the balloon in the air. The objective is to keep it up using your hands, feet and any other body parts you desire to utilize. If you practice martial arts, you can practice different types of strikes and kicks on it (however, I don’t believe balloons handle forceful grappling too well, much less a ground-and-pound). Never let it touch the ground! If you do, it’s game over. Try to see how long you can get it to stay up. Time it with a stopwatch and write it down. For each subsequent "round", see if you can beat your record from the previous time.
