Mirroring

...Exercising with a friend to sharpen your reflexes...



You’ll need a partner to practice this exercise. Find a clear area. Stand facing each other and take up stable stances. Take turns leading. The leader does any single movement or combination of movements and the “mirroree” must simultaneously mirror the moves as closely as possible. Moves could include shuffles, ducks, jumps, leans, and rolls. Don’t watch the moves and then do them, force yourself to do them as you are actually seeing them. As a result overtime you will gradually decrease your “lag" for all moves.
